    1. Oooh, the chicken sounds good. I don’t own a grill so will have to adapt to the oven. I imagine chicken breasts with skin will substitute nicely.

I can see the salad will take advantage of summer tomatoes. I’ve never been a big fan of bread salad but I will try it with my homegrowns and homemade bread and see if it sways me!

    2. I cannot *wait* to try that panzanella … I’ve been meaning to make it all summer!

    3. I’m excited about the panzanella too. I’ve never had it.

    4. I was just looking at the panzanella and wanting to try it so I am so excited! Going to look at the chicken recipe now!

    5. The panzanella has almost exactly the same ingredients as my favorite orzo salad, so i’m sure we’ll love it! But I’m definitely going to have to adapt the chicken recipe a bit, there’s no way two of us will eat all of that chicken!

    6. i love panzanella and the chicken sounds great. i am allergic to mustard but I am sure that it will still taste fantastic without it!

    7. I live alone and don’t have a grill. I’m thinking I’ll have to pass on the chicken.

    8. I love panzanella salad and have made it 2-3 times this summer. I am excited to try Ina’s version and I picked up some heirloom tomatoes at the farmers market as well as some lemon cucumbers! I think for the chicken I might do a whole cut up chicken from the store. Last time I tried to buttefly and debone a chicken I ended up with chicken skin on the ceiling 🙂

    9. I made both recipes for Sunday supper and they are both awesome. I used chicken breasts in place of a whole chicken and the flavor was incredible. I think I will be making the panzanella again in a few weeks for my Grandfather’s 80th birthday.

    10. I just had a question…
If the books are not listed in the recipe anouncement – does that mean that they are not in any of the books?
(I know there is a link to the online recipe, I was just wondering)

    11. Natashya – that’s correct. Ina has some newer episodes where the recipes aren’t in the cookbooks yet. New episodes of The BC are starting again in Sept almost 2 months before her next book comes out, which presumably will have some (if not most) of the recipes featured on the show.
