Yey! Thanks for mentioning the publicity, I am still not on Twitter, so I didn’t catch this news until now. I love the two choices, thanks Jill and Summer! I had been wanting to make this souffle for a while, so what a perfect selection! And the soup, this was such an appropriate selection for the fall season.
Great article! How exciting! Love the October choices. I’ve made the chowder before and its really good. I’ve been hoping someone would pick the blue cheese souffle!
My family will be excited about the corn chowder. Corn Chowder is one of our favorite soup meals and Ina makes hers the same way I do only she adds cheese! I am willing to bet they will LOVE the addition of cheese.
No one here really likes blue cheese so I think we will skip that one unless I see if I can swap out the cheese.
My husband and I aren’t too excited about the blue cheese either, maybe we could have another opportunity to do a Barefoot rewind. What happened to the September bonus recipe? Will that be carried over to October?
These are perfect for fall! I didn’t get to last month’s recipes unfortunately, I’m just not a big cake fan, but these sound awesome. Can’t wait!
We are not blue cheese eaters here either.
Would there be another option?
How about substituting the Roquefort for a lighter Stilton variety. I know it is still a Blue Cheese but not as pungent.
I cannot do bleu cheese either. I wonder if you could use gruyere?
